I’m a compulsive gambler and have ruined my life and that of my family. I really need help. I have tried GA and it didn’t really help me much because after 6months off a bet I have blown my salary. I’m now at a complete loss. All I can think of is terrible thought. Thoughts of doing harm to myself and ending my life in an attempt to punish myself for my actions. I need £2k to put everything right this month. I owe £1000s and am on a debt management plan so getting credit is impossible… Any advice on help getting money and help on my addiction would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, getting money is not the final solution. Its good you have recognised the problem and trying to fix it but all you can do is to ride this one out. So what if you owe some money? what are they going to do? just talk to your creditors and workout a solution and work on it slowly and manybe, you can workout different debt management plan on top of the one you already have. Killing yourself is no real solution either.. after all, we are all going to die in the end so, why not make most of it and take different path?
