Rachel Entwistle’s parents helping victims of abuse
Four and a half years ago, Rachel Entwistle and her baby, Lilly, were brutally murdered in their Hopkinton home at the hands of the man who vowed to protect them, Rachel’s husband, Neil Entwistle. Since then, the woman’s parents have channeled their grief into helping victims of abuse.

Breaking the cycle of abuse in teens
For nearly a year, Probate Judge Tom LaCross has been working with eight students enrolled in Alpena schools who were headed down the slippery slope of drug or alcohol addition. The formation of the Juvenile Drug Court in Alpena County is a revolutionary development few other counties in the state have established, but it is LaCross’ hope they soon will.
