Can Marijuana Be Used to Treat Alcoholism?

Question by Psychedelic Pantheist: Can marijuana be used to treat alcoholism?
I know that LSD and mescaline have been proven effective in treating alcoholism(Yes its true, read the book “The use of LSD in psychotherapy and alcoholism”). But can marijuana, another psychedelic(and yes, it is a psychedelic, you can confirm it from erowid.com) be used to treat alcoholism as well?
