Boyfriends in Rehab, When Can I Visit PLEASE HELP?
Question by jessicanicolenichols206: boyfriends in rehab, when can i visit PLEASE HELP?
my boyfriend was checked into an inpantient rehab center for meth. we were a little rocky before he left. so i had no clue where he was going or actually what he was going for. he kept it a big secret from me. But today i called his phone and he actually answered saying he got his phone back today, but he had to go because he had to go to class. but what i am wondering is.. am i allowed to visit him.. what are the standard rules for rehab pantients, and when do they get each luxury like receiving letters, or making phone calls, or getting visitors. please help i really need to speak to him

Uhhh, this is dangerous to say the least… my little brother was in inpatient services for heroin rehabilitation and I’m unsure if he’s telling the truth. My brother was not allowed his cell phone at all and there were only a few payphones in the facility for the patients to use because using their cell phones is dangerous and since most people can sign themselves out they have been banned. Not only that but he’s going to be emotionally unstable for YEARS most likely because of what the drugs have done to his body and mind, you might be a danger to him; one argument could get him to use, you have a lot to consider here.
Usually most rehab centers have weekend days for families and loved ones to come visit after the patient has detoxed, call the center he went to, they’ll gladly talk to you; but I strongly advise you consider your position in all this. 🙁 be careful!
