At What Extent Does “Child Abuse” Go To?
Question by Dean: At what extent does “child abuse” go to?
Well, i am a 14 year old asian male. Like alot of asian people, they get beat because they dont do good in school. The beating has gone less while i got older, but it still happens.
But, what extent does child abuse go to? like to be considered child abuse, do you have to show markings or something??
Can you guys tell me if this is child abuse??
1. Getting my hands laid out and dad whacks me with a spatula on the hand
2. Smacking me on the head
3. Throwing stuff like chairs, stools, etc at me
4. Kicking/ punching me till i KINDA get a bruse…kinda
5. He noogies me very hard (not in a playful way ppl do w/ their friends)
6. Throwing me around a room
7. He once punched me in the head which left a 2 inch bruise (in diameter) on my cheek, he told me to lie to my teachers that i fell down the steps PS. i was only about 10 years old…Is it too late to tell the cops?
8. Dunno if this is “abusive” but i have to do push up position for like 20 minutes…(ouch) and if i fall, he yells at me.. etc….
No, my dad is not drunk. And no, my mom and dad is going along fine.
Is this the kind of “child abuse” that can be reported to the police and get arrested for?
