Question by David Styvaert: As a LIBERAL, is giving clean needles to addicts the equivalent of making Eagle Scout for us normal people?
I don’t get how wearing ribbons and hugging trees and protesting America gives liberals their self-imposed sense of moral superiority. You’d think that after 60 years of completely failing America, and them losing the Soviet Union, they’d get that what they believe in doesn’t make sense.

The only thing I can figure is that when you move up the liberal ladder to the point you’re “helping” drug addicts would be similar to what us normal people see when one of us makes Eagle Scout.

Feel free to disagree and explain to me if I’m wrong about this. Thanks for trying to help me understand.

I appreciate you trying, but you are SERIOUSLY misguided.

1) So few people respect anything Carter did that he’s not even worth mentioning.

2) Our forefathers would be in shock to see how modern liberals have perverted participation into protests that are often near riots involving burning of flags and spitting on soldiers.

3) The budget surplus was a result of a Republican Congress not a Democrat President. Do you really think it’s a coincidence that Presidents came and went for decades with deficits and then suddenly Clinton figured it all out? No. The difference was that Dems had controlled Congress for decades and when Newt took over, the Republican Congress produced a surplus.

4) I tried to take a page from Clinton’s book but the pages were all stuck together.

I hope you’re not really expecting any of the “brave libs” to actually answer this. This question is entirely too specific for people who prefer to deal only in generalities.
