Arson sentence: Man gets the maximum for setting Front Street fire
Minutes before his sentencing hearing was set to begin, convicted arsonist John C. Fortney, 21, of Lowell, talked candidly with his family members about the crime, including the role of a second person who has yet to be charged in connection with the March 22 fire that gutted a section of Front Street buildings and businesses.
