a year ago i was diagnosed with cancer im cured now and about 6 months ago i was put on anti depressants and i have had this weird thing happend to me which started just before i started the medication it usually occurs a day after i have had alcohol basically what happens is i will be fine, in a good mood an everything and then suddenly i completely shut down i start to shake, i feel hot and my heart pounds and i start to get really depressed and suddenly hav thoughts of suicide.. and then it goes away but it always happens with alcohol anyone know what it is? and how to stop it

I’d tell your doctor right away, because that isn’t normal. Alcohol interacts with antidepressants in weird ways, and any antidpressant that causes such violent mood swings ought to be mentioned to your doctor.

Sorry to say this but nothing can stop it…yet.
From what you have described it seems you have a rare form of ‘cydotheripia’ occasionally occurs in people after cancer treatment. Nearly all cancer treatment have a certain chemical in which can react with alcohol to produce a type of poison. It’s such a weak poison that usally people don’t have a reaction to it …but in your case you do.

All I can say is “stop drinking alcohol” but if you ever vomit when you get this ‘shaking occurence’ call 999 straight away.
