Amethyst’s 2012 ‘Walk for Recovery’ – Saturday, September 15th was Amethyst, Inc.’s 2nd annual ‘Walk for Recovery’ at Wolf Park. While women participate in the alcohol and drug treatment program, they live in Amethyst’s community of recovery and peer support. Creating a stable, drug-free environment helps the women to build a sober support network.
