My moms an alcoholic and her boyfriend is a “ex heroin” addict who never got help. He is heavy set because he’s a alcoholic as well, unless he is still doing heroin. They are “drinking buddies”. He’s been to jail for beating her up but they’re still together. They smoke weed and one time I found a hitter in his bathroom and a silver pipe that looked like a crack pipe with a black end piece to it. What kind of pipe would this be? They were both out in plain view. I had $ 20 in my room, went out for a walk, and when I came back it was gone. I searched everywhere in my room that I could and it never came up. I looked for it and I found a Soma wrapped in a clear cigarette package wrapper laying next to my moms stuff. It wasn’t in a bottle, did she buy it from someone? She is also on Xanax for her anxiety. Her face is really sunken in, her hair is greasy, she’s taken money from me and never paid it back, she’s spent a lot of time outside of home, and has lost her dignity. My dad pays her child support and my brother never gets any of it. She still has a job. She is 130 and 5″5. Is it safe to say that my mom is an alcoholic and drug addict? I believe that if she is still drinking and bought pills once, why would she stop doing pills and not stop drinking? Is it possible that she has a problem with pills or opiates? I cannot talk to my mom because she lies a lot and I am in college and keeping my peace. I have tried to help her but she’s in denial
