Please help me find out some of the effects on THE ALCOHOLIC, THE FRIENDS, AND THE FAMILY

from being dependent on alcohol

The alcoholic can be abusive verbally, physically, sexually. He can and usually developes many physical health problems such as cirrohis of the liver, heart failures, “pickled brain syndome”, ulcers, diverticulites, and have falls that cause injuries. Legal problems such as Public Intoxication, DUI, Family Disturbances, and possibly divorce. The alcoholic usally can’t keep a job which leads to severe financial problems.

The affect on the family..
Children:
1) Depression
2) Anger
3) Feel rejected
4) Higher tendency to become an alcoholic
5) Generally high suicide or suicidal ideation
6) Few friends
7) Physically abused
8) Many times neglected
9) Left alone and have to take care of themselves
10) Some occasions have to take care of the parent

Spouse
Same as the child but worse
Usually end up divorcing the other spouse or are drinking with them.
