Lawmakers predict action on addiction problem
CHARLESTON — House Speaker Richard Thompson, D-Wayne, believes the state’s growing drug addiction problem is so critical that the 2011 Legislature will take action to address the issue. But he doesn’t anticipate any tax increases to help finance those efforts.
