In Mr. Holmes’ ‘Shame on Us’ article about how a significant portion of students entering Suwannee Schools are ill prepared, he never once mentions PARENTS or PRIMARY CAREGIVERS as part of the reason students are ill-prepared. These adults spend the most time with these children before school age.
