Shyness Question Continued?
Question by ♫singing in the rain☂: shyness question continued?
hey, i asked a question about shyness earlier, and i’ve gotten some great answers so far, but i just wanted to ask something more specific about what i was trying to ask. in my question i said i get “physical symptoms” of shyness, like heart racing and sweaty hands, butterflies in stomach, and my voice shakes when i speak. does anyone know how to get rid of these physical symptoms, b/c i think maybe if i could get rid of them i could become more outgoing. im not talking about medication or anything u have to pay for, but more like simple methods u can do at home or something.
thanks

It sounds like you haven’t found a physical activity to really challenge yourself, like swimming or sports. Because, you sound like someone who needs a physical outlet and by denying something as simple as exercise, like a dance class… Your body starts to go into panic mode.
You see, I’m an athlete and if I don’t get it out of my system, I get critisized for being boisterous and out going… So, I try to trap my energy and it will come out as the symptoms you describe.
By working out, like riding my bike with my dog, and kick boxing and increasing my self esteem with well being, then I don’t worry about being out going and having a panic attack.
