Then I saw the starting at a month, and realized that something else was up. Kory Stone, Paris Pathways Artist Statement: Addiction brings many people to their knees with health, mental health, wealth, and family problems. Addiction has no age limit. It can be a newborn whose mother used crack during pregnancy to an elderly, lonely person. I did the poem, that is part of the drawing, while I was in juvenile jail at 16 with 9 drinking charges already. My addiction is alcohol: it’s brought me to my knees and it can happen to anyone. Through my illustration and poem, I’m letting others see what I feel.
