Need Help With Active Desktop Recovery and Help Me With Virus Problems and “Contact Your Domain Administrator”?
Question by Ashley: need help with active desktop recovery and help me with virus problems and “contact your domain administrator”?
ok yesterday my system shut downed and it said that my system is infected. and now my back round says active desktop recovery but when i click “restore my active desktop” it says a script error then when i go to control panel and tried to change the back round and i cant select any picture and it says in red letter at my back round when i go there in red letters “your system is infected” so ive scanned and download over 4 free virus scanners and removeral. ive scan with ” advanced systemcar” “AVG 8.5” “avria control center” and 2 others but deleted them. and when it said it found a virus/unwanted programs i clicked deleted viruses but yet my active desktop recovery is still the say way. and also a hour after the problem happened yesterday an “advance window” thingy pops up and starts scanning it said i had 8 viruses but i had to buy the it in order to delete the virus it said. idk if that was a fake scanner or what. i havent seen it pop up yet again today.
ive scanned and scanned with the free virus removers so am i ok now? but yet i think i still have maybe 1 or 2 more because when i go to google and search something and click on results it goes to something completely diffrent. it might be a google redirect virus or something ive heard about that. what can i use thats FREE to delete that problem? and another other free scanners that will remove/ detect other virus that my other scanners couldnt find? thank you.
ok now the active desktop recovery problems…
when i try to go to system restore it says “system restore has been turned off by group policy. to turn on system restore, contact your domain administrator” but i AM that. its my personal computer. how can i fix this? ive tried rebooting, click “restore my active desktop”, rebooting holding F8 and trying to go to safe mode but it wont work some numbers come down then it reboots, ect. please if anyone can help me bless you!!

I suggest you run a scan with malwarebytes .
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
you can get malwarebytes here,
this is a direct download link
so you should have no trouble getting it.
click on this link ↓ and then select run.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/affiliates/2-spyware/mbam-setup.exe
INSTALL IT TO YOUR DESKTOP, update it,
then run a full scan and remove everything it finds.
some viruses will try to disable it
so if malwarebytes will not start up
then go into the folder it is in and rename the mbam file to XXXX .exe
then double click on the file you just renamed to start it up.
after you have used malwarebytes then do this online scan.
to make sure you have nothing else hiding away.
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
preferably in safe mode with networking.
if the above fails which i doubt, then try this.
