Question by Vicham: Opiate withdrawal question?
I Am curious if you are addicted to hydrocodone and are experiencing withdrawals will another opiate like oxycontin or percocet or codeine get rid of the withdrawals even though they are from hydrocodone? Will any of the opiates work as substitutes for others if you are experiencing withdrawal from any of the said opiates?

We go to a different class of pain meds to kick at least 1 time a year. If on vicodine for too long, go to morphine or methadone for a week to 10 days to kick. Just take what is needed to kill the withdrawal hell & then go back to the usual.
