Question by Joe Schmoe: Can a school official take a leave to enter a drug or alcohol rehab and then reclaim their position?????
Could a well-liked school official (such as a teacher, counselor, or principal) take an unexpected leave from work to enter a drug or alcohol rehab (for approximatly a month) and then reclaim their position????? Would this individual lose their job because of the stigma surrounding their reason for leave??? Would that be grounds for lawful termination???? Does anyone know of such a senerio that has happened in the past???? THANKS!!!!
