Question by Chaco-Yekke Downyonder: Is there a link between internet addiction and clinical depression?
I have spent most of my waking life in front of a computer screen for the past 9 years. I’m 37 now, and I was diagnosed with clinical depression 2 years ago.
Could it be that the two are linked?
Are there studies out there connecting these two things?

There is a factual clinical link to ocd obsessive compulsive disorder and depression so if it has become an addiction then yes. This can easily be addressed with journaling, counseling and if needed meds. Good luck,
