SEAN LEVERT DEATH : Celebrity Tribute to Sean Levert

NEWS: Sean Levert’s family seeks FBI assistance to determine cause of death (BlackPressMagazine.com) – While being held in restraining chair at the Cuyahoga County Jail’s psychiatric ward, R&B singer Sean Levert died after his breathing was constricted, according to medical reports by coroner Frank Miller. An autopsy was conducted but the results will not be back for about six to eight weeks, he said. Now the family of Sean Levert is asking for the Federal Bureau of Investigations to look into the 39-year-old singer’s death. Levert died on March 30, 2008 just outside of his hometown of Cleveland, OH. His older brother, Gerald, died on November 10, 2006 after an accidental drug overdose when he unknowingly combined prescriptions. Levert was sentenced to 22 months in jail for failure to pay 000 in child support. Sean Levert’s death is one of many celebrity deaths that are currently under investigation including actress Anna Nicole Smith, Fulbright scholar Dr. Donda West and actor Heath Ledger, among others. According to reports and quotes from Warden Kevin McDonough, Levert, who is said to have suffered from a drug addiction that began when he was 14-years-old and was being treated for anxiety, had to be placed in the psychiatric ward after five days in jail because he “began mumbling incoherently.” McDonough says that Levert then became violent and continuously banged on his cell door. These actions, say McDonough, required Levert to be placed in the restraint chair
