Lawmaker: ‘I’m sure (the K2 ban) will pass’
Legislation that has passed the state House and is now in the Senate would ban K2, an herb sprayed with a synthetic chemical that produces a high akin to marijuana. A House bill passed on June 23 classifies the active chemical in K2 as a schedule 1 narcotic, the same as ecstasy, heroin, LSD and heroin.
