My Friend Suffering a Severe Drug Addiction Problem in Inner-City Birmingham UK 2008?
I have a friend who wont accept he has a problem with drug addiction, he lives in a small grotty council flat in inner-city birmingham, the flat is rife with crime and drugs, but he wont do himself any favours by leaving it, he says its his home and he wont go into re-hab, he has no family for support as they want nothing to do with him, im the only person who he can rely but he doesn’t think he can he always says his real friends are the scum dealers who are killing him with the drugs , he says he doesn’t sleep at night because he fears the dealers are going to break into his flat at night. Is this paranoia too? Outside his door there’s hypodermic needles and drug paraphenalia. His drug doses seem to be increasing how can I help him?
