I haven’t read much about long term affects, but what I have read says these possibly effects are more likely the more ecstasy you do at any one time, and/or the more often you do it..

“One long term effect of ecstasy that concerns some researchers is potential brain damage. Some say that neurons that produce serotonin become damaged and it doesn’t take much ecstasy for this to occur. Another concern is that there will be increased depression, anxiety and psychiatric disorders with long term use of ecstasy.”

If you want to know the finer details of how it works and what potential damage can be done, read this..

There’s other sections on the left side of the page regarding ecstasy, it’s all very good stuff to read if you want to find out how it works and what the risks are.

Good thing you decided to stop taking it, personally I think it’s more harmful for younger people to take drugs because you’re brain is still developing, and you’re still learning a lot in school or life in general, so it’s not good to mess up that development 🙂 But I’m not 100% sure if this is true, just my idea..
