Can an American tell me how they feel?
Can an American Policeman on here explain why they feel they have the right to do these thing? Here in Holland we are appalled by the behavior of American Police abusing citizens.
It would not be acceptable in Europe, as we have highly skilled, and educated Policeman which know how to handle situations properly. For example we won’t chase someone in a car (or on foot) and risk causing an accident just because someone had harmless marijuana or some small amount of drug.
Basically, I wonder if the American people and American Police Officers realize that the WHOLE WORLD is laughing at them for the way they treat their people. The USA I think is the worst Police State in the world and on top of everything you people have the audacity to call the USA “The Land of the Free”. What a joke that is. 1 out of 99 Americans IS IN JAIL….that’s more than one percent!!!…How can you call that the land of the free???

I couldn’t help but notice that noone gave me a REAL answer.
Typical empty-headed Americans.
Quizzard: Than why is over 1% of YOUR ENTIRE NATION behind bars, smart guy?
jadamgrd: You should care that we are laughing. We enjoy (much) better lives than you idiots do in your Police State. You Americans will fight anyone but your own Government.
I don’t know how many times the American people need to get hit in the face until they realize whos hitting them, lol…

If we took lessons from the dutch we’d be screwed. It is in the best interest of society to take necessary measures to detain citizens committing crimes. American police officers are some of the best in the world and the few reports of brutalization are proportionately miniscule…i agree that brutalization is wrong, but look at a country like mexico and ask about their police force.
