I need practice questions for an AR (Accelerated Reader) test. It is a test grade and I’m really worried about it because it’s a big book and I don’t think I can remember all of it. PLEASE HELP!?!

In the book, the dome is placed over Chester’s Mill as an experiment by a group of young aliens (like kids watching an ant farm). The dome is lifted when one character (I’m not saying who) manages to get one of the aliens alone in a telepathic contact and convince it that the townspeople are actual sentient beings with real lives.

How does it end? Why is there a dome over the city? Why did it chose them? Who created the dome in the first place? Who dies? Who is alive when the dome disappears? When does the dome disappear? Why where some of the people hoarding Propane? Why was Barbie in the town in the first place? Why was most people having a seizer saying something about the stars?
ANSWERS The dome is basically put over the town by a group of super-advanced alien children. They are playing a cruel game, much like the little kid who burns ants with a magnifying class, and seem to have chosen the town randomly.
At the end, Big Jim Rennie decides to steal the propane he has been hoarding for his illegal meth lab from a junkie named Chef. Chef blows up the lab, causing a fire that destroys most of the town and incinerates/suffocates most of the inhabitants. Barbie, a drifter, the newswoman and a few others survive near the edge of the dome as the air becomes toxic and unbreathable, finally contacting a child who takes pity on them and lifts the dome.
As for the seizure, it’s foreshadowing. There is a meteor shower, but since the dome is covered with grime on the inside, the stars look pinkish. I guess the alien technology causes many people in the town to see parts of the future as a side effect.

The drug operation was run by town leaders, Big Jim, Lester Coggins and a pharmacist whose name I forgot. Phil Bushey manufactured Crystal Meth for the town leaders out near his radio station. As the dome continued and things got more out of control, Phil, along with the forgotten pharmacist and both of them in a crystal meth haze, set fire to the drug operation (which included a huge stockpile of propane) causing a tremendous explosion and toxic fumes (since the Dome held in everything) that killed most nearly everyone in the town. Big Jim took refuge in his storm shelter with Carter Thibideaux and was killed when he left the bunker and breathed in the toxic fumes. So technically, Phil killed him.
