Question by CTL: My best friend is being badly influenced by someone else?
I’m going to make the story as short as possible. So, my friend *Anna is also best friends with *Riley. To make things clear, I kind of dislike *Riley because in the past she would put me down to make herself feel better, but she doesn’t really do it much anymore because something happened in school. I feel like she treats all her friends differently based on how she likes them, and I’m only her “friend friend”, while she thinks *Anna is her best friend.

Anyways, to make things short and simple, *Riley got *Anna into pot, like *Riley would bring pot over to her house and eat pot brownies, and apparently they’re getting together to eat pot popcorn. They get high together whenever they hangout. ALSO, *Riley influenced *Anna to steal from stores because I asked her how *Anna started it and she’s like “*Riley got me into it”. I told her that *Riley was a bad influence and *Anna said “not really, just that”.

I hung out with *Anna the other day, and she stole from Dollar Tree, Victorias Secret underwear, Wal Mart, nail polish from Kohls, underwear at Von Maur, and the WORST she stole was TWO $ 40 EARRINGS. I was so uncomfortable about it because if she gets caught, I get in trouble just for being with her.

I asked her what she’s going to do with the items, and she said no joke, SELL IT ON AMAZON. She also said that is the last time she’s going to do it.

I feel like *Riley is doing anything she can to become best friends with *Anna. They hang out whenever it is possible and *Riley is also giving away her things to *Anna like her uggs, fancy wallet, shoes, which really looks like she’s sucking up to her. *Riley got *Anna thinking that pot is so fun and cool, and that stealing is “sooo easy”. Whenever I hang out with *Anna, I feel guilty for not joining in like she’s talking about how great it is to be high, and she thinks stealing is so easy to do.

If I hung out with *Riley, she would be like “put that back!” and if it were *Anna she would be like “good job so proud”. That’s how different she treats her friends.

I don’t know what to do, I have been best friends with *Anna way longer, *Riley used to hate her then all of a sudden they’re friends. *Anna changed because of this stupid human being *Riley.
It is my business if she’s telling me, and maybe it’s too long for you to read since your Language Arts skills were only good enough to end up as a police officer. 🙂 Ratchets can’t be nice on the internet these days
