Recently I’ve been drinking a lot like every day just because there’s a lot of alcohol around. My mom says that “alcoholism” runs in our family tree. When does drinking become destructive? Is 1-5 drinks a day really that bad? What is considered bad or too much for your own good? Thanks.
How much alcohol does it take to cause damage to your liver, brain, etc?

The same reason for which loosing mind is bad. How much of mind loss is bad ? Is 30% bad ? what’s considered bad or too much for your own good ? Good luck.

However, anyone may attend an open meeting, alcoholic or not, according to the AA website. Only those with a drinking problem may attend closed meetings, but there are no rules against attending a regular meeting for help with any other addictions.
