Why Do Deluxe Glitterati Mints Make Me Feel High?
Question by Lindsey: Why do deluxe glitterati mints make me feel high?
I ate this mint I found in my house and i began to feel weird. I had my friend eat one and she felt weird too. We both felt high and it made us pass out. We were wondering if they do anything to the mints.

The manufacturer doesn’t do anything to them, they’re high end mints with triple distilled peppermint oils and they’re given out in some of the finest restaurants and hotels worldwide. They’re imported from Italy.
It sounds like maybe someone in your house could have treated them with some sort of drug, like acid, to be used to get high. If you found them in say… an older brother’s room or something like that, it’s likely he’s the culprit. If you found them in your parents’ room, use caution about how to discuss this with someone.
I’m adding this piece below because to feel high and then pass out makes it sound like it may have been treated with Rohypnol – a date rape drug.
“High school students who are offered water at a party should take a close look before drinking, a drug expert told Spanish River High School students on Wednesday. It could be spiked with GHB, or gamma-hydroxybutyrate, a drug taken for its immediately intoxicating effects and relatively low price of $ 20 a hit. GHB is also known as a “date rape drug” because it can render a taker helpless in 10 minutes and last up to four hours. Students also should watch out for people carrying eyedrop bottles, which are used to spike the drinks, and offers of breath mints, which can be used to give an unknowing student LSD. These drugs, along with ecstasy, crystal methamphetamine, “roofies” or Rohypnol, and “Special K” or ketamine, have become some of the trendy drugs of choice among many in the high school set, said Scott Perkins, a former Orlando narcotics officer who has become a recognized expert on the current drug scene.”
