What Does PMS Mean on Prescription Drug Labels?
Question by muttykins: What does PMS mean on prescription drug labels?
In my case, PMS-Citalopram. The only answer I can seem to find is this:
“PMS include Prozac (fluoxetine), Zoloft (sertraline), and Celexa (citalopram). Your doctor may prescribe this treatment only during the luteal phase of your menstrual cycle, or for continuous daily use, depending on your individual symptoms.”
Can anyone explain it a bit better than that…? I have continued daily use, so I’m just curious if anyone can elaborate what it means.

It may be an indicator of PostMarketing Surveillance.

Which considering that the drug in question has lost it’s patent (expired) and other companies are making their own versions of it, they may be watching it to make sure that it’s still safe.
But that’s just a guess. I am not certain of that so take it with a grain of salt.

Sounds From Heaven: Questions/Theories/Physical Symptoms – lol You’re very well spoken and I’m interested to hear more of your theories. I’m totally freaked out by all the unknown activity lately and have been getting physically ill from pre earthquake vibrations. When the sounds were heard in my area in Puerto Rico I also felt a vibration along with it and it shot up and down my body like an internal blender is how I can best describe it. Made me dizzy, nauseous and very irritable. Could it be our gov’t experimenting and not giving a flying fk if we get sick or Alien invasion or simply. God? not sure but My insomnia has gotten worse. Please get back to me on your insight. BTW love your look, your piercings, hoody, etc..”I apoligize for the sound quality, it’s 2am and I”m trying to be quiet”..
