well i need to know how long after sex does implantation start because i have the “symptoms” and sh*t but its been 8 days since sex. and i have verrrrrrryy light bleeding pink and often brown and only noticiable when i wipe. rarely any cramps. but yeahh they say it could be the start of my period but its lasted 3-4 days now and no cramps?? i asked y ma she just said it was y period weird tho and if i should make a doc appt. she said no but yeah i think i should just cos.

The average time for implantation is about 7 to 10 days after fertilization, but sometimes it is less than that. Fertilization can occur any time after intercourse, up to as much as a week or more later.
If your egg was fertilized immediately and implantation was early-ish, it could have happened within about 3-5 days of sex. If the sperm lived in you for several days before finding your egg, implantation might occur as late as 2 or 2 1/2 weeks after sex.
But if you are having the signs of implantation at 8 days after intercourse, honey, that’s right about the average time. You need to go to the drug store and get a home pregnancy test. If you test negative, take another one unless you get your period on time. It sounds like the chance that you are pregnant is very high. If so, you may have some hard choices to make, and you cannot waste a day. I hope it all works out for you.
