Q&A: How Can There Be a “Victimless Crime” When We Share Our Bodies With Other Lifeforms?

Question by sassychickensuckerboy: How can there be a “victimless crime” when we share our bodies with other lifeforms?
I just read DISCOVER magazine, which revealed that humans have 100 trillion cells in their bodies, 9/10ths of which are foreign cells. On the show, “bulls**t, Penn asserts that his own body is his to do with what he pleases, he can abuse it with drugs at will as long as he is not hurting anyone (for example, “smoking pot at home” doesn’t hurt anyone). He submits, “My house” while poking himself in the chest. However, if we are in symbyosis with other creatures and only have 10% of the share of our own bodies, do we really have the right to abuse our bodies as we see fit, while ignoring the other lifeforms we live with? If we do have that right, is it wise to debase our bodies, considering that other beings inhabit our bodies? Also, won’t such activities leak diseased bacteria, mites, fungi, and parasites back into the environment at large, perhaps causing problems for people on the outside?
