Patients are encouraged to participate in sweat lodge ceremonies at a nearby Indian reservation as part of their recovery program, and are introduced to Native American cultural and spirituality exercises.
Physical fitness is encouraged at AARC. Besides a fitness center, supervised walks and other outdoor activities are available.
