Well, as they say in toxicology, it’s all in the dose. High doses of meth could cause convulsions or short term schizoid behavior. High doses of haldol will cause cataleptic paralysis. Long term doses of meth cause various psychological problems, including depression and anhedonia, whereas long term haldol causes permanent extrapyramidal side effects (not too unlike Parkinson’s disease). If I were forced to chose, I would probably take a single dose of Haldol. It rarely kills schizophrenics (as it was a once popular antipsychotic) but a bad reaction to any stimulant (including meth) could cause a stroke, heart attack or psychological problems that may take a while to resolve.
