to be honest all addictions are psychological in nature.the brain controls the body,not the body controlling the brain,when was the last time your left leg decided to go for a walk on its own? and has your hand decided to not pick up a spoon to feed your stomach?about the only thing your brain dosent control is nail and hair growth,
