Question by basport_2000: What are the symptoms of oxy contin addiction?
My father-in-law was prescribed 20 years ago and we feel that his quality of life now is because of this prescription.

Well. If he has been on them for 20 years, he definatly has a physical addiction. I mean, there is no way you can just bypass PHYSICAL opiate addiction when taking it everyday. He may not be mentally addicted, but if he stopped taking them, he would go through extreme withdrawals.
