Since When Is Bulimia Nervosa a Reason to Have a Child Removed From Her Home or Make a Mother Unfit?

Question by Linda K: Since when is Bulimia Nervosa a reason to have a child removed from her home or make a mother unfit?
I am the mother in question! I DO NOT have Bulimia Nervosa. I am a very physically fit and health minded.

I have recently began a custody battle with my ex after raising my daughter alone for over 4 yrs. He makes constant false accusations about my parenting skills. Most recently, CPS visited my daughter at her school and I asked, does your Mommy throw up? When I questioned this, they said, the report claimed I was bulimic!! OK???? And the point is?? Damn, I mean we have crack and meth addicts Moms and Dads out there and they are saying I am unfit and putting my daughter at risk if I am bulimic???
Some of the responses have been, is there more to the story, not on this one. The ex is getting desperate and is drawing for anything he can at this point but that still doesn’t mean CPS should consider this a threat to my child’s welfare.

Someone also said, if your sick, your sometimes going to puke. I have been puking several times a week. Not because I am bulimic nor have I ever considered this option, it because of my nerves and listening to these bogus claims make me SICK! Who wouldn’t be sick, physically and emotionally if someone was trying to remove their child from their home!
