Question by Kelsey B: How to quit drugs without telling the parentals?
I talk to a therapist twice a week about a drug addiction i am struggling with, and we’ve definitely gotten to the bottom of what’s causing it, I just can’t seem to change on my own. My therapist (Which i speak to before my parents get off work so they won’t know) suggested detoxification & rehibilitation (rehab). I can’t openly attend this because I CANNOT tell my parents about this. I need a place or organization that can help me on my own terms, in my own time, without parental supervision (whether online, in person, or via phone).

Any help would be awesome…I’m really trying but it’s just not enough.

First of all, I am very proud of you for seeking help.

I don’t know where you live, but I would think there would be some type of support groups in your area, where they wouldn’t keep you overnight, but I’m not sure. Your therapist didn’t suggest anything specific?
