Can the Smell of a Drug Make a Child Sick?

Question by c: can the smell of a drug make a child sick?
My son woke up yesterday with an asthma attack, and when i turn the lights on i smell this nasty foul smell like if a pot or pan burned but has a sort of pee and sweet smell all mixed in. now i suspect that someone might have been smoking some type of drug out in the hallway or up in the roof.

since yesterday my son which just turned 2 has been sick,
he has been short of breath, throwing up and coughing. I’am about to take him to the emergency room in a few minutes.

I will like to know if a child could get sick with these symptoms if they inhale crack or cocaine smell?

i would think its possible. there are a lot of chemicals in that stuff that could make a kid sick.
