Birthday Gift?

Question by MJ: Birthday gift?
My boyfriend is getting his life back together and is in a really good, well known Christian rehab program and im so proud of him and hes doing really good…its a live-in program and hes monitored 24/7, i only see him on sundays and we are not allowed to talk to eachother, or even hug eachother. i can only write to him. i was there through his drug/alcohol problem and have loved him through it all, we want to get married sometime soon. He means the world to me, and we miss each other very much. I want to make sure that i get him something really special when he gets out of the program, but his birthdays coming up and i want him to have something while hes in the program. I was going to get a couples ring, matching rings and then engrave our names on the outside and then a message on the inside. Do you think i should give this to him for when he gets out of the program or for his birthday, which is coming up. Any other meaningful gift ideas for either his birthday or when he gets out?
