hey i’m prescribed to 1 amphetamine tablet (10mg) a day, and i work tonight (New Years Eve) and i know it’s going to be really really busy and i just want to have enough energy to make it through the whole night. I have never taken more then prescribed before, so how would this affect me? Besides the fact that you’re not suppose to…how bad would it be?

Anytime you take your medication differently than it is prescribed it can be dangerous. With an amphetamine, it could cause irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, anxiety, paranoia – lots of bad stuff. Don’t do it. If you get tired at work, take a break and drink a soda or cup or coffee. Don’t risk your health for one night’s work. Stick to what your doctor prescribes.
