What Do You Define as an Addiction?

Question by Follow-the-narrow-gate: What do you define as an addiction?
I’ve been to alcohol and drug treatment this past year. I do not want answers telling me that only you can say you are an alcoholic. I have been through that many times. I consider myself and will always be a addict. I am just curious to know what you people think

you can never stop thinking about it. u crave for it. it disrupts ur daily life. it affects ur relations with family and friends
