Question by foxrider2500: What are the negative effects on kids that are forced to play sports?
I am doing a project in my sociology class about the negative effects that being forced to play sports (by parents or family) has on kids. I am covering football only but any insight is greatly appreciated, especially if you have been in this position.

China is forcing kids to play sports like gymnstics…it is really horrible to see the vedio clips…
only to get medals in sports events…

Their life spoiled.. they are becoming like machines
