My dad left us and this really affected my mom. Since then, she has been drinking alcohol and gotten addicted to it. My siblings and I want to get her treated, but as my dad is no longer with us, we’re really strapped for cash. Rehab costs a lot and we can’t afford this. However, we can’t just let our mother continue on being an alcoholic. Any suggestions on how we’re going to get my mom treated?

This must be really tough for you and your siblings. Do you have other older relatives that you can ask for help from? It might be better if you have a grown-up with you who would see to it that your mom gets treated. You can also apply for a grant from the government. If your mother has insurance, you might be able to use this as well. The second link below will give you a list of the addiction treatment centers in your area.
