A few years ago when California banned ephedrine and it was taken out of thousands of over the counter drugs such as energy pills and weight loss tablets the general reasoning given was that it was harmful to your health and there had been all these stories of kids and athletes ODing on it. However do you think the ban had more to do with the fact that using ephedrine in the “meth” process is so much easier and quicker than its pseudophedrine cousin at that is actually a part of the war on drugs?
So if the ephedrine companies were big Bush contributitors how was it that they did end up managing to ban it?
