Each morning I walk through the Johnson St. Bridge corridor and encounter the signs of addiction and homelessness. The ubiquitous blue syringe casing is a colourful sign of a dark issue; one that is not being dealt with well by any level of government, and is being foisted on one neighborhood: Chinatown. Not fair. Last night was below zero, and must have been very rough on Victoria’s homeless population.
