Ride organizers’ expectations stay high ahead of July event
LANCASTER — Ideal cycling weather and a few more riders are pretty much all the Tour de Cause bike ride needs to be a full-on success, organizers say. While the weather’s a maybe, organizers are confident they will have plenty of riders to accomplish their goal, which is to raise awareness and funds to help curtail heroin and opiate addiction in Fairfield County.

Shorewood man charged in string of dry-cleaners robberies
A 27-year-old Shorewood man was charged in a string of armed robberies in which he allegedly threatened cashiers with a baseball bat at dry cleaners in Wauwatosa, Shorewood and Milwaukee, according to a criminal complaint released Wednesday.
