It seemed very real & very scary. Especially to see the lives of those junkies other than how we see them just in passing. Al Pacino was very believable as a hopless addict. Kitty Wynn was good too as his girlfriend. Too bad she didn’t make anything else after the “Exorcist”. The saddest part in the movie for me was the addicted hooker who was the mother of a baby girl. She was high most of the time. That poor baby. It was an eye-opening movie experience.
