Descendants of John and Henry Gordon Family Reunion is to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Taylortown Community Center. PJC releases Continuing Education schedule Paris Junior College’s Continuing Education Department offers a selection of classes during the month of August, according to vice president of workforce education John Spradling.

Burn ban imposed in Schuylkill
A resolution declaring a countywide 30-day burn ban on open fires was adopted by the Schuylkill County Commissioners at the public meeting held Wednesday at the courthouse in Pottsville. It becomes effective at 10 a.m. Friday.
