Question by Fancy That: Psychologically speaking, what would cause an individual to ‘not care what they put into their body’?
A psychologist diagnosed someone I know as having this problem. The person has a history of eating disorders, drug abuse and mental health issues.
What childhood event, environmental or genetic factors could create this type of destructive behavior in a person?

They don’t care because they have no fear. No fear can come from many things in a persons life: an uncaring parent, a traumatic life event, neediness of the person, or a low self image.
