Question by Nate: over the counter medications that test positive for amphetamines?
i recently took a urine test and it came out positive for amphetamines even though i have never used those drugs. i tested positive once before and thought that it was my cough medicine so i stopped taking it and the next test it was gone, but my most recent test came up positive again even though i haven’t taken any medication except tylenol since. what could be any other possible reasons for the positive results?

tablets for cold symptoms may contain amphetamines, or amphetamine like substances…including tylenol cold
if you were taking regular tylenol it could be that the cough syrup ingredients have lingered in ur system. how long ago did you take the cough syrup?
